Flagship joins VT Group
On 01 July BAE Systems and VT Group formed a new ship-building joint venture, BVT Surface Fleet, to build the next generation of carriers.As part of this transaction Flagship Training Ltd, which was a 50:50 joint venture, joined VT Group as a wholly owned subsidiary. The company is now known as ‘VT Flagship’ with a new marque, which mirrors and reinforces the VT brand.
VT Flagship has joined VT Group’s Education and Skills division and together they will create the UK’s largest training, education and skills’ company employing over 4,000 people. Integrating VT Flagship within the wider VT business will enable the combined organisation to share best practice and exploit the many synergies that exist between the two businesses to benefit their customers.
The integration represents an exciting opportunity for VT Flagship to leverage the relationships and expertise that VT has within the educational and training industry to deliver market leading training solutions for its customers.
